Vivian Mae Dufault Obituary

Yakima, Washington - Vivian was born in Los Angeles California to Tex Archie and Lorene McGrath! She was the 5th of 14 children. As a child the family moved to White Swan Washington where she experienced a childhood that had tough times and good times during the depression years. As a teenager mom moved to Yakima and completed Yakima High School while working at Larsen's bakery before and after school to help out her large family. One day she began to chat with her neighbor, Alvard Dufault. About a year later Mom and Dad were married and had 3 children. They had 40 wonderful years together and devoted their time to raising their family and having fun family gatherings together with the Dufaults and McGraths. Great times were had all! Dad passed away in 1990 and mom became the head of the family, keeping family traditions and spending time with grandkids, helping those that needed help and just enjoying the gifts of life. The past 6 years mom had a few health concerns but she continued to stay independent and never complained! Maintaining her independence took some work and she was so thankful to Sonny who was right there with her daily along with a Rehab crew! That love and support and positive thinking allowed her to be in her home until her Heavenly Father came for her on April 30, 2025. The family held a graveside service on May 7, 2025 at Terrace Heights Memorial Cemetery!
