Wapato, WA - Theresa (Terri) Jacob, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and joyful friend to many, passed away peacefully at home in Wapato on September 17, 2025. Theresa grew up in a section house next to the railroad tracks in Toppenish. She graduated from Toppenish High School and attended Yakima Valley Community College where she met her lifelong sweetheart, Roger. They married and built a home in Wapato; her home was her favorite place in the whole world, where she enjoyed cooking, watching the Seahawks, and playing and visiting with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan, always cheering on her kids and grandkids; her favorite outings were going to watch and cheer for Wapato Wolfpack basketball. She loved being greeted as "Ála" by her grandchildren and their friends. Terri loved children and she drove school bus for Wapato Public Schools for 32 years, always greeting students and their families with a happy heart and a word of kindness. She taught religious education classes for 30 years at St. Peter Claver in Wapato, teaching young people about the love, compassion, and commitment to social justice that filled her strong faith-filled life. She loved her home on the Yakama Reservation and was proud to be a Wapato Indian Club parent. Attending the Ichishkíin Language Bowl competitions at Wapato High School made her heart happy, as she cheered for her grandkids and all the students.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Pauline Bradley, siblings Paul and Ruth, son Michael, and grandson Heron. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Roger, Sr., her children Roger Jr. (Gina), Justin (Alicia), Michelle (Chris), her grandchildren Garret (Kassidy), Hunter, Faith, Quintic, Hazen, Blaise, Sealy, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

Rosary service is at Heggie's Funeral Home in Toppenish at 5pm on Tuesday, September 23. Mass is at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Wapato at 10am on Wednesday, September 24, with burial to follow at Reservation Community Memorial Park in Wapato.
