Yakima, Washington - It is with great sadness that the family of Teresa Zack announced her passing on Wednesday May 7, 2025, at the age of 75, with the love of her family surrounding her. She is preceded in death by her father Enrique Vargas, mother Francisca Vargas and her beloved granddaughter Natalee Celena Zack. She is survived by her husband Stuart Jeffrey Zack, daughters Renee Francisca Zack, Sarah Teresa Abundiz, sister Cecilia Lopez, brother Enrique Vargas, grandchildren, Angelica Marie Zack, Layla Estella Ballinger Romero, Alejandro Jesus Zack, Armand Daniel Ballinger Romero, Maximus Miguel Abundiz IV and great grandchildren Annabel Teresa Leonard, Aaliyah Francisca Reid, Stormi Nohely Bustos, Jesse Kinman Derrick V, as well as many cousins and friends. She loved spending time with the Lopez family, her sister Cecil, her brother-in-law Macedonio (JJ) Lopez, her niece Yolanda and nephews Rolando & Orlando Lopez, she loved going on all the family vacations together, Disneyland, Beaches, Zoos, Cruises and Shopping. Teresa loved cooking for her twin brother Jr. Vargas, niece Eva Vargas and family on special holidays. She showed her love through her homemade cooking, famous for her Chicken mole, Spanish rice and carne con chile always a treasure for any occasion. Teresa holds a special place in her heart for her best friend Jean Palmer and family. A best friend is like a four-leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have. She graduated from Wapato High School, home of the Wolves. She excelled in all her classes and met her high school sweetheart. After high school Teresa married her love of her life and soulmate Stuart Zack, they bought a house in Yakima Washington to start a family. In life Teresa saw the task of raising 2 children and working at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 37 years. She loved life and she had a heart of gold. She loved listening to her Mariachi music, her favorite singer was Vicente Fernandez, she also loved Elvis. We will always remember the love you gave, the sacrifices you made, the strength you carried, you were an inspiration, you are truly such a light to everyone who meets you.

A visitation will be held May 22, 2025, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Keith and Keith Funeral Home, 902 W. Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98902.

A mass service will be held May 23, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Paul Cathedral, 15 S. 12th Ave, Yakima, WA 98902.
