Auburn, Wa - On June 10, 2025, our beloved mother, Sherry Ann Oswalt Pomerinke, was called home to be with the Lord. Sherry lived a life rooted in faith, devoted to Christ, and guided by the teachings of the Holy Bible.
Sherry was a woman of unwavering belief, whose love for the Lord shone through every aspect of her life. She found joy in prayer, strength in scripture, and peace in the promises of eternal life and shared her faith through kindness, compassion, and an unyielding trust in God's plan.
As a mother, Sherry raised her children in the ways of the Lord, teaching them to love, to serve, and to trust in Him always. Sherry found comfort in verses such as Ecclesiastes 3, Romans 8:38-39, Psalms 23, and John 3:16. She now rests in the arms of the Savior, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in the presence of the Almighty.
Sherry Ann Pomerinke is preceded in death by parents Otto and Frances Oswalt, siblings Tommy (Alice) Oswalt, and Ozzie (Mary) Oswalt, and husband Arland Pomerinke. Sherry is survived by daughters Arlana Pomerinke and Brenda Pomerinke of Auburn WA, and son Arland "David" (Mindy) Pomerinke of Walla Walla, WA; grandchildren Aryn (Mike) Corradi of Algona, WA, Douglas (Shelby) Pomerinke of Corvallis, WA, and John David Pomerinke of Walla Walla, WA; great-granddaughters Dariana, Nya, and Secret Pomerinke of Auburn, WA, and great-grandson Nathan Corradi of Kent, WA; and several nieces and nephews. These loved ones will carry on her legacy of faith and love. While we grieve her passing, we find solace in the hope of Christ's resurrection and the assurance that we will one day be reunited in God's eternal kingdom.
A celebration of her life will be held at Zillah Cemetery on Saturday, June 28th at 10:30 a.m., where we will gather to honor her memory and rejoice in the promise of everlasting life. Friends are welcome to join the family for lunch afterwards.
