Savannah, TN - Patty Jo (Kwak) Murray passed from this world to the next peacefully in her sleep on July 5, 2025, in Savannah, Tennessee. She was 75 years old.

Patty Jo was born June 17, 1950, to G. Harry and Anna (Dekker) Kwak in Yakima, WA. Raised in the Lower Yakima Valley, she attended schools in Harrah and White Swan, graduating in 1968. Patty Jo and Darrell Winters were married in the spring of 1969. They raised four children: Nick, Cindy, Heidi, and Trina. Her children were the light of her life.

Mom, Grandma Jo, Aunt PJ, and most recently Gigi Jo, was the most amazing woman. It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye, but only for now as we know we'll see her again soon in Heaven. Her faith was strong, her fears were none, and she was quick to love and slow to anger. She truly made the world a better place.

Patty Jo and Acy Murray were married August 19, 1993. They enjoyed many "bucket list" trips together. Acy treated her like his queen.

Patty Jo loved to travel and share good meals with friends and family. She was an incredible cook and baker. She was an avid quilter and made beautiful quilts for all of the precious people in her life.

If asked what her greatest joy was she would tell you her kids, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She loved ALL of them with her whole heart.

Patty Jo was truly an inspiration! She saw every day as a gift from God and wanted to live each one to the fullest.

Patty Jo was preceded in death by her husband Acy, her parents, son-in-law KJ Dawkins Jr., & grandson Wilson Winters.

She is survived by her siblings, Carrie Juarez, Kriss Peterson, Harry (Kathy) Kwak Jr.; children, Nick Winters, Cindy (Anthony) Baugher, Heidi Dawkins, Trina (Curt) Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Brandon) Roberts, Keishon Dawkins, Zachary (Madisyn) Baugher, Jerid Winters, Joshua Baugher, Kendall Dawkins, Kate Baugher, Hayden Hayes; and great-grandchildren, Judah Baugher and Jemma Roberts.

We are so blessed to have her as the foundation of our family. We appreciate the outpour of love and condolences.
