Yakima, WA - Michael Lee Abhold, 68, of Yakima, WA, passed away at home on September 25, 2025.

Mike was born on January 27th, 1957 to Jessie (Esparza) and Leo Abhold in Yakima, WA.

Mike graduated from West Valley High School in 1975.

Mike was well known for the many years he owned & operated the Chevron service station in Naches, WA. He made countless friends and memories during those years. Later in life, Mike retired from the USPS as a rural mail carrier in Tieton, WA.

Mike was always generous, loving, and witty. His family will always remember him for his pride and big heart.

Remaining to cherish Mike's memory are his son Shain Abhold; daughter Jamie Abhold; grandson Gunnar Hamett; brother Ray Abhold of Spokane, WA; brother Jim Abhold (Cuc) of Vancouver, WA; brother Fritz Abhold (Louise) of Sedro Woolley, WA; sister Kathleen Abhold of Mount Vernon, WA; sister Patricia Petri (Stuart) of Yakima, WA; brother Kris Abhold (Pattie) of Yakima, WA; brother Randy Abhold (Ximena) of Yakima, WA; and eighteen nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mike in death are his parents, Leo and Jessie Abhold; and sister Julie Lange.

Service details will be shared once arrangements are finalized. The family is being cared for by Brookside Funeral Home.
