In loving memory of Marylen Korando, devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend.

It is with both heavy hearts and grateful memories that we share the passsing of our beloved Marylen Korando, who left this world surrounded by the love of her family.

Marylen was the true matriarch of our family - wise, warm, and always ready with a laugh or a story (or both). She spent her life pouring love into those around her, especially her four cherished granddaughters and her precious great-grandson, who knew her as the fun, doting, and always-up-for-anything especially shopping, Grandma.

She was a proud and devoted member of her beloved sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, for over 50 years where she formed lifelong friendships and never missed a chance to celebrate life. Whether she was planning events, dressing up for themed parties, or keeping everyone in stitches with her wit, Marylen brought joy to every gathering.

Marylen had a deep love for travel - whether it was a cross-country road trip, a spontaneous weekend getaway, or cruise with her family she was always ready to pack a bag and go. But her favorite destination was anywhere she could be with the people she loved most.

At home she was happiest at the pinochle table, playing long into the night with her high school sweetheart and husband of 58 years, Roger, a tradition full of laughter, love and just the right amount of friendly competition.

Marylen is survived by her loving husband, Roger, her son Don and daughter-in-law Chanel, her daughter Mindy and son-in-law Casey, her four adoring granddaughters, and her treasured great-grandson. Her absence leaves a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled, but her spirit will forever surround us - in every burst of laughter, every late-night game, and every act of kindness and love.

She taught us how to love fiercely, laugh deeply, and live fully - and for that, we are forever thankful.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
