Yakima, WA - Lonnie James, sadly passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 75. He spent most of his life in community service in Law Enforcement and Veterans Administration. His passions were entertaining folks through his music, taking joy rides on his Harley and various seasonal cars. He enjoyed his "Toy's".
He is survived by his two sons Rob & Jeff, stepdaughter Sophia Pallas, grandchildren, Keenan, Isabella and Skylar, great grandchildren, Malia, Olivia and Sawyer, his sister Donna Mach and brother Greg James, and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Lon is reunited in peace with childhood sweetheart and wife Linda, his parents, as well as numerous other relatives and friends who preceded him. Their reunion gives comfort to those left behind, knowing that he is surrounded by loved ones once more.
Graveside service with full Military Honors will be Saturday, May 31st beginning at 10:00am at Tahoma Cemetery, 1802 Tahoma Ave, Yakima. A Memorial Service & Reception to celebrate the life of Lon will be held at the VFW Post #379, 118 S 5th Ave, Yakima, also on May 31st beginning at 1:00pm.
