Astoria, OR - Lois Cameron, age 94, passed away quietly in her sleep on July 14th, 2025 in her apartment at Clatsop Retirement Village in Astoria, OR.


Born in Colville, Washington, she was one of five children born to Robert Day and Martha Patton Day. She graduated from Wapato High School in 1948 where she met her future husband Charles Cameron, who shared an interest in archery and cheerleading. They were married in September of 1950 and had four children together: Susan, Chris, Martha, and Pat. They moved to Seaview, WA from the Yakima, WA area in the mid-sixties.


Lois is survived by three of her children, Chris, Martha, and Pat, as well as 5 grandchildren, Rachel, Danielle, KC, Sean, and Tina, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Martha, husband Charles, brothers Robert, Alvin and Melvin Day, sister Marian Day Sadler, daughter Susan Cameron Durant and grandson Charles Thompson.


A Celebration of Life will be held at Ocean Beach Christian Fellowship (1311 37th Pl., Seaview, WA 98644) from 3-5pm on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025.
