Leslie Ann Lang Obituary

Leslie Ann Lang was born on 10/4/1952, in Watertown, South Dakota, to Jack Argo Lang, a pilot and Wanda Edge, a coal miner's daughter. She grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, then graduated from Riverton, Wyoming High School, with the class of 1970. After she graduated she traveled around the world with the musical performance group UP With People.


After rejoining her family in Yakima, Washington she worked in various businesses, including transcriptionist at Yakima Providence Medical Center.


While working around Yakima she worked towards obtaining her A.A. degree at Yakima Community College. Upon obtaining her A.A. degree she made plans to go to Bellingham and obtain a B.S. degree in Environmental Studies, Western Washington University.

Following graduation she worked for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington.

During her time working at Fred Hutchinson she wrote her first book and later another one under Pen names. Following the publishing of her books she lived in a marine gated community in La Conner, Washington. There, she worked at writing and consulting. After several years of Marine life she move to an Equestrian estate near Stanwoood, Washington, where she worked with show horses and hunting dogs. She was preceded in death by several family members. Leslie is survived by her chosen family.
