Yakima, WA - Jacob "Jake" Lee Guilland, age 37, went home to Jesus, on July 30, 2025. Jake was born on February 13, 1988, in Yakima, to Jeff and Desiree Guilland.

Jake liked to spend time with his family and friends. He liked to play games, hang out, and watch TV.

Jake earned BA degree in Accounting and Business, from Heritage University.

Jake was a member of Terrace Heights Baptist Church, and he loved his church family very much. He was a prayer warrior with an organized extensive prayer list, and he enjoyed studying his Bible.

After a long battle with cancer, Jake was looking forward to being home with Jesus, his Lord and Savior.

Jake is survived by his parents, brother, Nicholas "Nick" Guilland, grandma, Phyllis Guilland, uncle, Dan (Joy) Guilland, and aunt, Lisa Ervin.

We are thankful for the wonderful care that Jake received from North Star Lodge and Heartlinks Hospice & Palliative Care. Your care and compassion for Jake and our family is a continued blessing.

A Memorial Service will be held for Jake on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:30am, at Terrace Heights Baptist Church.
