Yakima, Wa. - Gary spent 31 years teaching for the Mt. Adams School District.
Gary had many hobbies. He taught skiing on weekends at White Pass for 28 years. Gary loved things with engines. He had a ski boat and enjoying water skiing and boating. He enjoyed long motorcycle trips and had been a member of the Gold Wing club. He was an amateur musician and enjoyed playing in jam sessions around town.
Three years ago he bought his dream car, a 1923 bucket T roadster. He could be seen driving it all over town in the summer months, with a huge grin on his face.
Gary is survived by his wife Cori Kinder, sons Jeremy and Jeff (Kyra) Worrell, grandson Sebastian Worrell, and sister Patty Scheuffele.
A celebration of life will be held in June.
