Eldora Ann (Shorty) Cazier

September 10, 1940 - September 15, 2024

Yakima, Washington - Shorty Cazier, age 84, of Yakima WA, passed away on September 15th, 2024.

Shorty was born on September 10, 1940 to Rose & Mathias Miller in Sacramento CA.

Shorty grew up in Yakima WA and attended grade school at St. Paul's and went to high school at Saint Josephs Academy.

She worked at numerous jobs until she ultimately chose to take a position at The Boeing Company.

She retired with 20 years of service--most of it in management. Shorty had pride and integrity in everything she did and always strived to become better in her career.

No matter the destination, Shorty always had a passion for travel. Arizona, Oregon, and Alaska were often her favorite places to be in her times of leisure.

Shorty was an wonderful mother and human being. She embodied the best of qualities-- unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her family and friends. She touched so many lives in the Seattle, Yakima and Arizona areas from high school friends to fellow Boeing workers to her great neighbors at Broadmoor Park for the past fifteen years. The world is a little less brighter without her in it. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Rose and Mathias Miller, brother Joe Miller, husband Lloyd Cazier and daughter Christina Sharp. She is survived by sons Michael (wife Debbie) and Patrick, three grandchildren Ryan, Shawn (wife Ashley) & Torey and four great grandchildren Gracie, Benjamin, Griffin & Nova Rose, sister Cathy Norton...and of course her loving dog and faithful companion Rosie

Memorial Mass service for Eldora (Shorty) will be held on October 19th @ 10am at St. Paul's Cathedral 15 S. 12th Ave Yakima WA and reception immediately following from 11am-1pm at Broadmoor Park Clubhouse 55 W. Washington Ave Yakima WA
