Yakima, Washington - Dennis Wright, 75, went safely in the arms of Jesus on September 4, 2025, in Yakima, Washington. He was born on May 1, 1950, in Portland, Oregon to Nelson Wright and Margaret (Wahl) Wright.
His sister, Debi, joined the family two years later.
He graduated from David Douglas High School and worked as a janitor. He volunteered at the Salvation Army and Mabel Swan Apartments.
He loved Little League Boy Scouts, camping, sports, cars, guarding at Portland Wrestling, KFC and eating ice cream.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Nelson Wright and Margaret Wahl.
He is survived by his sister, Debi (Ken) Dove, nephews, Cris (Dante, Lucas), Brian and Teri (Jacob, Emma, Isaac), Neice, Hilary and Coby Halpin (Gabe, Alicia) and many friends.
He was a great man and will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, at 11:00a.m. at Mabel Swan Manor.
