Yakima, WA - Debra Diane Hutchinson (née Carvo), a devoted wife, nurturing mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on June 5, 2025, held close by the love of her family. She was 73.
Debra was born on February 6, 1952, in Yakima, Washington, at St. Elizabeth Hospital to Gerald and Minnie Carvo. She was the fourth of nine children, growing up in a lively, close-knit home where laughter echoed often and love ran deep. The bonds she shared with her siblings shaped the deeply compassionate and loyal heart she carried throughout her life.
A lifelong resident of Washington, Debra worked for many years as a dedicated Pharmacy Technician. She took pride in her work, serving her community with care and precision—but her truest joy came from the time she spent with those she loved. Whether she was offering a kind word, a warm hug, or cheering someone on during a lively game of bingo, Debra had a special way of making people feel seen and loved.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Richard Hutchinson; her daughter, Stephanie Gutierrez; her sons, Scott and Steven Hutchinson; her cherished grandchildren, Austin and Tyler; and her beloved great-grandson, Zander, who brought boundless joy to her later years. Her family was her greatest pride, and her love for them knew no limits.
Services will be held June 18th at Holy Family beginning at 10:00 AM, with burial at Calvary at 1:00PM. Langevin Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
