Yakima, wa - In Loving Memory Connie Jean Wilson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Connie Jean Wilson, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, relative and friend. She went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2025 after a complication from a surgical procedure. Connie was born March 20, 1939 to Wayne and Caroline Nott. She was raised in Yakima along with her younger brother Doug Nott and graduated from Davis High School in 1955. On October 5, 1957 she married Ron Wilson and gave birth to her two sons Roger and Greg in the years following. She helped her husband Ron with their apple orchard and Wilson Irrigation and Orchard Supply.

Connie was frequently seen at Apple Tree Golf Course and Yakima Tennis club playing with her friends. She loved to travel, especially to Hawaii, with Ron and her friends. After the death of her husband Ron in 1992, Connie continued her love of golf and tennis and spent her time volunteering at Yakima's Union Gospel Mission Lighthouse Thrift shop. Connie served her family through hosting all special events and there was always an extra seat at her table. Her great grandkids will always remember Grandma Connie's cooking, especially her huckleberry cobbler. In addition to spending time with her family she enjoyed the company of her special friend Vern Larson in the later years of her life, continuing to play golf, tennis and traveling. Connie will be remembered for her love of those closest to her.

Connie Wilson is survived by her sons Roger Wilson and his wife, Michelle and Greg Wilson; her grandchildren, Krista, Daniel, David and Brewster; her great grandchildren, Rylan, Theron, Lachlan, Gavin, Jameson and Leilani; her nephew, Brian Nott and her special friend, Vern Larson.

There will be a gathering of family and friends for services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Yakima Foursquare Church. The family suggests, if desired, memorial gifts may be made to the Yakima Union Gospel Mission.
