Grandview, WA - In Loving Memory of Christian Stephan Trevino

May 11, 2001 - June 6, 2025

With profound sorrow and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Christian Stephan Trevino of Grandview, Washington, who was tragically taken from us far too soon at the age of 24.

Born in Yakima, Washington on May 11, 2001, to Steve Trevino Jr. and Jacque Trevino, Christian brought immeasurable joy to his family from the very beginning. In 2005 and 2012, his beloved younger sisters joined the family, and Christian embraced his role as a big brother with deep love, kindness, and a protective heart. He was always there to offer them a warm hug, a listening ear, and unwavering support.

Christian was a vibrant soul, full of creativity, compassion, and drive. He recently graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Technology and Culturea reflection of his passion for art, design, and innovative expression.

A dedicated fitness enthusiast, Christian found purpose and fulfillment in the gym, where he not only trained with commitment but also encouraged and uplifted those around him. As a gym employee, he motivated friends and members alike with his infectious smile and generous spirit.

More recently, Christian found meaning in his work with the Grandview School District. His gentle nature and ability to connect made him a beloved presence in the classroom, where he had a remarkable gift for making every student feel seen, heard, and valued.

Christian also gave his heart to coaching his younger sister's AAU basketball team. His positivity, patience, and belief in each young athlete's potential left a lasting impact on all who were lucky enough to learn from him.

He had a tender love for animalsespecially his dog Jack and the rescued cats over the years who found a home and a friend in him.

Christian is survived by his loving parents, Steve and Jacque Trevino; his cherished sisters, Natalee and Madeline; his grandparents, Steve (Carmen) Trevino Sr., Leticia Sanchez, and Barbara Smith; and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends who will forever carry his light in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Murray Smith, whose memory he held close.

A memorial service to celebrate Christian's life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Nazarene Church in Grandview.

Rest peacefully, Christian. Your presence was a gift, and your light will continue to shine in all who knew and loved you.
