Selah, WA - Carol Jean Seagraves 69 of Selah, passed away August 3rd, 2025 after a long struggle with diabetes. She was born to Herman and Juanita (Adams) Seagraves on March 12, 1956.
Carol grew up in the Yakima valley. She attended Davis high school and later graduated from CWU with a bachelor's degree in Women's Studies. She worked for Planned Parenthood many years and after retiring went to work for the Selah School District.
Carol was a voracious reader, loved to cook and try new recipes. She also enjoyed gardening and various craft projects.
Survivors include Phil (Taylor), sons Doug and Ben Taylor, Amy and Christina Hoffarth, grandsons Bradley, Tyler, Tristan, Trevor, and Jaydon, granddaughters Madison, Angazala, great grandchildren Gracelynn, Safire, and Xavier; sisters Vonda (Binky) Rizzo, and Joanie Holdener as well as 5 nieces and 4 nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Melissa, brother Herman Seagraves, and sisters Marie Anderson and Vera (Bunny) Bossert.
Celebration of life October 18th at Ledgestone Inn 3pm.
