Calvin Charles Meyers (Cal) Obituary

Worden, MT - Calvin (Cal) Charles Meyers passed into Paradise on May 30th, 2025, in Billings, Montana. Cal was born on February 13th 1936 to Peter (Pete) and Pansy Meyers in Wapato, Washington. He grew up in Harrah, WA and graduated from White Swan High School with the class of 1954.

On September 13th, 1957 Cal married Linda Robertson in Tygh Valley, OR, a union that lasted until Linda's death in 2015.

In 1961 Cal and his family moved to British Columbia, Canada where he was employed as cow boss at The Nicola Lake Ranch until 1973. After leaving Canada Cal and his family returned to The States settling in Granger, WA where he managed the Rhuel and Arstien Feedlot until his retirement. Dad also volunteered his time to the Granger Fire Department for several years.

Dad was an honest hard-working man whom dedicated many long hours to his employers ensuring, above all, that the job was always complete and done right.

The last 9 months of Cal's life were spent with his son, Calvin, in Montana where Cal enjoyed many road-trips. Seeing the beauty of Montana, and making many new friends.

Cal is survived by his son Calvin, his daughter Camie (Al) Metheny, his grandchildren; A.J. Metheny, Dawny Metheny, and Cally Matthews, his great-grandkids; Hunter, Laynie, Levi, Shelbie, Charlie, and Preston, his sisters; June Ashley, Betty (John) Mayfield, and Eva Profitt, brother and sisters in-law; Gary and Shirley Conley, Shirley Meyers, and many nieces and nephews.

Cal was preceded in death by his wife Linda, his parents, his brother Marvin, several brothers and sisters in-law, and many long-time friends.

Dad will be greatly missed and always remembered for his tuff, "if you fall off your horse get up and get right back on", attitude.

We love you dad! Thank you for being a great dad and grandpa.

Per Cal's request there will be no formal funeral services.
