Yakima, Washington - Robert ("Bob") Joseph Hargreaves passed away peacefully January 25th, 2026.

Born October 31, 1946, in Yakima, Washington, Bob was the cherished second son of Marge and Jim Hargreaves. He grew up with his brothers, Bill, Steve, Dick, Dave, and sister, Jeanie, on Hall Avenue where he created many lifelong memories. He was an avid soccer player, and after attending school at St. Paul's and Marquette Highschool, Bob went on to join the military. He was stationed in Okinawa where he learned Laotian and other related languages.

Bob's favorite achievement by far was being the owner and operator of Bob's Keg & Cork because it was there, he created something special. For 15 years, Bob created a community where locals and visitors could relax, unwind, and enjoy each other's company. While Bob enjoyed sharing knowledge on the many different assortments of beer and wine he offered, his favorite part was chatting with his customers, many becoming lifelong friends. Bob never met a stranger he didn't like.

Bob enjoyed this work so much, they opened a "Bob's Keg & Cork" corner in his retirement community, Fieldstone, where he continued to share his stories and expertise of libations.

The Hargreaves family would like to thank the staff at MultiCare Memorial Hospital especially Dr. Paul Guernsey, Nurse Sarah, and Joanna for the exceptional care Bob received during his final day.

Bob is survived by his brothers, Bill Hargreaves, Steve Hargreaves (Sandy), Dick Hargreaves, David Hargreaves (Cindy), brother-in-law, Kim Rogers (Kim), and numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved sister, Jeanie Hargreaves and parents, Marge and Jim Hargreaves.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 13, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Yakima Country Club.
