Yakima, WA - We lost our soul mate, best friend, wife, loving mother and grandmother Billie Jean Magers on May 13th, 2025. She was born on Oct. 9th, 1948, in Mount Moriah Missouri to Leroy and Glenivere Zimmerman. At an early age she moved with her family to Naches Heights and graduated from Highland High School. After completing her higher education, she worked for People for People and the Yakima School district until retirement.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, her parents in-law Bud and Jeanette Magers, twin sons Rick and Randy, grandson Brandon, brother Johnnie as well as Mike Muir and Gary Berrell and her beloved dogs Mona, Lucky, and Betsy.
Billie is survived by her husband and soul mate of 35 years Tom Magers, sons Jimmy, Eric, Sean, Thomas and daughter Kimberly Alexis as well as their spouses, brothers Randy, Jack, Danny and Kelly. She has numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Billie spent much of her free time smothering her great grandchildren and grandchildren with love, traveling around the pacific northwest, camping, getting into trouble with her best friends Serena and Mary, and cheering on her husband and countless friends at softball tournaments. She was an avid reader, shoe connoisseur and collected friends like no other woman on earth. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to her great-grand daughter Emersyn's GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/4b469a6c.
